I absolutely love this place and the people who work there. My daughter came here after a not so good experience with another orthodontics. She was so frightened from her past experience but when we got to Burrow Welchel & Culp they were so patient in their attempts to regain her trust. My daughter gave them a time, but their patience persisted. My daughter begin to trust them and relax. My daughter has a long journey ahead of her with her ortho needs but I love the progress so far. Everyone in this office has been so helpful. I can't stress enough how much we love this place.

I started going to Burrow Welchel & Culp when I needed to get braces myself and when it was time for my sons to start getting consults for braces, I knew I 100% wanted to continue with Burrow Welchel & Culp. They are so incredibly caring, personal, and they take great care of all of their patients, as well as their family. They took really good care. They were recommended as a second opinion to an ortho office that was really rude and inconsiderate. Everyone here was really nice, kind, and the doctor even introduced himself and was far from arrogant. We got the answers we needed and they worked really well with our new dentist, who recommended them. We just moved from Maryland and needed to move our services to North Carolina. Overall, they worked well with my 13 who has Autistic Spectrum Disorder and is Neurodivergent. Thank you so much for all you do. We found the perfect orthodontist!

Very convenient location to Ballantyne and an easy drive up from SouthEnd! I saw Dr. Alex Culp to finish up my Invisalign treatment and can say nothing but great things. Removing my attachments only took about 10 mins and he made sure there was absolutely no residue and polished my teeth up nicely. The staff at this office is very kind and helpful too. This week I took two of my children to see Dr Goody for a consult and also had one myself. I was very impressed with Mary his assistant and also Dr Goody. I have a previous major nerve injury from a previous dental procedure and Dr Goody was very caring and mindful of the pain I live with and made sure to discuss my case with my general dentist who’s been a vital part of my recovery and treatment after a very unexpected complication (caused by someone else). Both of my children have their own needs and Dr Goody was in no way in a hurry to over treat or to push us into care that my kids aren’t fully in need of just yet. He was thorough in explanation and telling me what to expect and when we may need to start interventions for them.I was impressed with their office staff as well and the facility is beautiful and clean and easily accommodated me and my three children during our visit. Mimi at the front desk was kind and helpful and got my payment squared away and also scheduled all three of our next appts. I am excited to start Invisalign with them in September and I know I am in the best hands. After a nerve injury from a previous dental procedure I can be guarded and unsure of physicians but I have zero concerns or worries about the care provided and I am thankful for their attentive care.Wonderful practice with caring and professional staff.

My sister recommended me to them as she’s been going there for quite some time. I needed braces so I gave it a world. What an amazing experience with Dr. Sam and Elizabeth. I was a bit nervous going in because a crown came loose while pulling out my aligners. Given the fact I am between dentists, Dr. Sam was very accommodating and fixed the crown back on my tooth. Elizabeth has such a kind and caring manner. She was very understanding about my nervousness about putting the trays back in and stood right next to me when it was time to take the trays back out, even held the mirror for me.I highly recommend this group for any orthodontia work.

Very happy with consult and first stage of braces. Both son and daughter have very sore mouths but very expected after getting them yesterday. In no time they’ll forget they have braces.Front office staff was very patient when trying to figure out Flex along with a payment plan.Beautiful, clean, open space and best part was my son has such anxiety with anyone touching his mouth and me not being close by. He was able to listen to his AirPods and I was able to sit on a bench near him. He said that made all the difference.

WOW! I have to say that we have been so very pleased with this orthodontist. Not only did we have our daughter's smile perfected, but now are having our son go through treatment as well. The other day, Miss Mary sat down during our follow-up exam to take the time to not just dictate, but to explain thoroughly to our son how and why to take care of your teeth. She showed him examples of what not to do AND told some wonderful stories to prove her point to him in the short time we were there before seeing Dr. Burrow. I even snapped a pic as I was so blown away by her. ALSO, even better ... wouldn't you know that our son has taken to his oral hygiene in a much more serious tone since that day. Miss Mary has always been wonderful to our family, but this time knocked our socks off! Thank you - thank you - thank you! 🙂

I took my daughter here for a second opinion while treatment is in progress with another provider. The staff were kind and professional. Dr. Culp provided a thorough consult addressing all of my concerns and provided suggestions on treatment. Wish I had found them before starting treatment elsewhere!

I have heard that the 3rd time is a charm✨ So I initially went for a consult to explore my options as I was displeased with my smile once again. This is my 3rd round.🥴 I inform of my concerns and the smile I want to eventually achieve. Dr. Emily understood and empathized with me. She immediately knew exactly what I needed and set the plan of treatment with the expectation that I will be pleased with the end results. From financials to start of treatment their Orthodontic Assistant Mary was awesome and understood the assignment specifically for me. I opted to go to the new Huntersville office. Everyone one pleasant, inviting, and professional. I was pleased from the initial hello to the exiting goodbye. Thank you!! I’ll see you all in 4 weeks!!Happy Holidays!!Ms. Couther

I had braces over 10 years ago and my permanent retainer was coming unbraided. My teeth have shifted a little bit from my own fault of not wearing my retainers like I should. Mary discussed options with me and we decided on removing the permanent retainer and have new retainers made to keep the current placement of my teeth. Thanks so much! A great experience and the entire office is so friendly. My kids are going in for consultations next.

Shelby was kind, patient and very informative. She made sure all my questions and concerns were answered to my satisfaction and was very knowledgeable about my situation. Dr Coombs was also very professional answered all my questions very informative on the procedure that I may need. He also answered all my questions and made sure I was satisfied with any concerns I had. The office is very clean and the people were nice.

My son has autism so it's really hard to find a dentist who not only listens to me as a parent but also listens to my kid and helps my kid with his autism without showing any sign of judgment. I had no issues whatsoever with any of the staff there especially with Dr Byrd Kat. Everyone was incredibly nice helpful and professional and everything was explained to me to where I did not have to have a list of questions before I went in there. Normally I asked a thousand questions anywhere I go especially regarding my kid but they were able to answer all my questions before I even had a chance to ask any questions. Which was very refreshing. And they took great care of my son with autism especially with his sensory issues and everything. I am definitely going to be going back to that place and I will recommend them to anyone they were awesome.

Great service and staff! Elizabeth answered all of my questions. Natalie was very welcoming at the front desk. Faith and Dr. Alex are helping to make this braces journey as comfortable as can be. My 10-year-old just got her braces on. She was a little nervous about it, but the staff here made her feel so comfortable! Natalie at the front was so welcoming and Bri was just amazing! (everyone was, I just can't remember all their names). It's clean and beautiful and they even have a support dog that will sit with your kids if they need some extra support. I couldn't be happier with our experience.

If anyone has ever thought that slingers are just for young children or teenagers, think again I’m in my 60’s and wasn’t sure until I met the doctors at Burrow Welchel Culp. I had a great shadow experience at BWC Orthodontics recently. From the start, the staff was extremely welcoming and the hospitality was great. Dr. Burrow and his crew made it clear that they were passionate about their jobs and excited to be in the office. The patients were satisfied with the results they were seeing and the staff was working hard to get people in and out of the office quickly and efficiently. Definitely a great place to go for those of all ages looking for orthodontic treatment!

I am a patient of Dr. Welchel, and from my first visit I knew this was the orthodontist for me! My husband and daughter both used another practice which I had consulted but wasn’t pleased with. I am an older adult and wasn’t very sure if this was a good idea for me. But after consulting with Dr. Welchel it became clear to just dive in and I couldn’t be happier! Dr Welchel is brilliant!! She is young, smart, kind, patient and she definitely knows what she is doing! My teeth look fabulous already and I’ve only been in braces for 6 months! The Mountain Island staff is great every one that has worked on my teeth are experts at their craft! I made the right decision choosing Burrow and Welchel. I have referred so many people and they are also pleased! Thank you Dr. Welchel and your team I couldn’t be happier!
