Dr. Sam Burrow is a renowned speaker, teacher, author, and award-winning, board-certified orthodontic specialist who has been transforming smiles since the inception of Burrow Welchel & Culp Orthodontics in 2013. He has personally brought joy and confidence to thousands of patients in the Greater Charlotte and Rock Hill, SC areas.

Dr. Sam has been invited to speak to orthodontic residents in training at numerous schools around the country, including his alma mater the Medical University of South Carolina, the University of North Carolina, and Harvard University, on the mechanics of new-age orthodontics.

In addition to practicing orthodontics, Dr. Sam Burrow is a co-author of The Orthodontic Answer Book: A Patient’s Guide Through Orthodontic Treatment. He also writes two monthly publications—a newsletter delivered to over 3,000 Burrow Welchel & Culp Orthodontics patients and a “Case of the Month“ newsletter delivered to over 300 dental professionals in the greater Charlotte and Rock Hill area.

As a board-certified orthodontist, Dr. Sam is committed to staying at the forefront of orthodontic technology. He has worked with the latest technology and orthodontic systems offered and presented research to the American Association of Orthodontics on using scanning technologies to incorporate overall facial aesthetics into orthodontic practice. Additionally, he has been asked by numerous vendors to use, test, and provide feedback on various appliances and new technologies.
