Dr. Justin Groody

Dr. Groody graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry in 2020. His specialized orthodontics residency was completed at the prestigious Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry.

Quoting Dr. Groody: “I found my passion for orthodontics halfway through dental school.” Adding: “One of the most fulfilling experiences of my life was the opportunity to complete an Operation Smile dental mission in Managua, Nicaragua. The love and compassion for the patients demonstrated by the international team proved to be truly motivating.”

Dr. Groody grew up playing football and lacrosse. He loves to stay active, whether it’s pick-up sports or daily CrossFit classes. He enjoys focusing on a healthy, active lifestyle and pursuing a love of cooking delicious, healthy foods with his wife.
